Glenallachie 12 Years - 2008
This Glenallachie is part of the Benchmark range, which represents the heart of Murray McDavid. The casks for the finish of the bottlings are very carefully selected. This Glenallachie first matured in a 600 litres Sherry Butt for eleven years, before it was filled in two Cognac casks made out of French oak. After a year, the casks were married back together. The independent bottler Murray McDavid is located in the Speyside near the Coleburn distillery. In the six different series, various Single Malts, Grains and Blends are bottled.
