Elsburn Malaga Cask
The Elsburn Malaga Cask (priorly Glen Els) from the Hammerschmiede distillery matured in Spanish Malaga Hogsheads from European oak. Malaga is a Liqueur Wine from the eponymous region and is made from the half-dry Moscatel and very sweet Pedro Ximénez grapes and is developed in oak casks. With this maturation, the Single Malt has Sherry notes with the typical aromas of fruits and dark chocolate.
