Bowmore 12 Years
Bottled in the 1980s, this Bowmore is filled in the "Dumpy Old Bottle"-style with 43.0%. Rare to find and difficult to compare with current 12Y Bowmores.
Nose: Fine notes of grass and flowers, some earthy tones, light chocolate and liquorice . In the back some sweet ripe apricot. A light whiff of violet flower
Taste:
Cold at the beginning, some creamy pralines, some bitterness that transfers itself into smoke and fruity sweetness
Finish:
Long and complex
