This Bowmore was bottled by Duncan Taylor. In the Octave series, the bottler is experimenting with the influence of the cask size on the maturing. Octave casks with ca. 50 litres is only a fraction of the regular sizes. With this the Whisky has more contact to the cask's surface and matures more intensively.
