Bowmore 44 Years Gold Edition
This unique kind of bottling was distilled on the 5th of Novermber 1964 and directly bottled into three Bourbon and one Oloroso sherry cask. The 44 years of maturation in the famous vault no. 1 grew a very special kind of Scotch.
The Gold is the last of the Trilogie: Black, White, Gold.
Nose: Complex with a lot of vanilla and papaya and passion fruit
Taste: An explosion of ripe and exotic fruits, creamy with vanilla and peat smoke
Finish: A lot of layers to taste through. Very nicely balanced.
