Nosing:
Massive sherry sweetness. Raisins and dried fruit. Orange oil. Initially on opening has a whiff of PX about it, but mellows a little after a while.
Taste:
Intense sweet arrival. Raisin and dried fruits orange peel, Oak & burnt caramel - more so than previous versions balances the sweetness. Stops just shy of bitterness.
Finish:
Long and intense, fruity sherry.
Comment:
Another cracking release of A'bunadh. Slightly more balanced with the sweetness on the palate than previous versions. Can take a whole bunch of water - maybe an additional 25% volume.
