Aroma: Sweet & sour starting nose. Honey, vanilla, orange rind & a rich caramel nose. Almost has a savory characteristic. Some oak and spice notes like nutmeg & hint of cinnamon round it out. The alcohol plays tricks towards the end with almost a minty eucalyptus presence at the end.

Taste: Some red fruit, caramel & maple sweetness, lots of oak, spice & dry bitter woodiness. There is a sour note & a youthful spiritiness that gives it a juicy mouth feel but definitely not balanced. The oak and wood flavors just overpower the mild mannered spirit

Finish: Leaves a lingering of maple syrup, vanilla spice and woody oak spice on the palate. Description is actually better than what it actually is.

Comment: 81/100 - The nose is the best part. The spirit resembles more of a rye character than a wheated bourbon in flavor but again not very balanced. This needs more age to round out the rough edges.
