This 12 year old Macallan is part of the Triple Cask Series of Macallan, which replaced the Fine Oak series. The Single Malt is a combination of European and American Sherry casks as well as American Ex-Bourbon casks. With the different casks types, the Whisky developed an especially balanced character.

Comment: This whisky really has many complex flavors. It has very little spiciness and mostly fruit flavors. And in the end, the taste of oak wood is completely felt, if it was less, maybe it would be better. It was not my favorite, but it is definitely a good quality whisky.
