Nosing: Complex, sweet and slight peat smoke, fresh tin tobacco, a little ocean spray 
Taste: Sweet and smooth on arrival, a hint of mint and herbal notes leading to a light medicinal peat mid palate, with a pleasant intensity and oakiness. 
Finish: long and complex enough. 
Comment: This is one of the best/most complex 12 year old whiskeys I've had. Highly recommend this to someone who wants to begin trying whiskies with smoky characteristics as the smoky/peat flavours are not too intense and is well integrated with the sweetness of this spirit.
