Bunnahabhain 7 Years - 2013 Staoisha Very Cloudy
Bunnahabhain Staoisha is named after the sea near the distillery, from where the water comes which is used to cool down the pots stills. Non chill-filtered Whisky are commonly bottled with 46% alcohol strength. With a higher percentage, the oils and fat particles in the Whiskies remain loose. Beneath 46%, a very dull Malt is created. Signatory Vintage deliberately plays with this effect in the 'Very Cloudy' series. This is a strongly peated bottling.
