Stauning Smoke - Batch 1/2021
In the Danish Stauning distillery, all steps of production from the malting to the bottling are happening on-site in Skjern on the Danish west coast. The peat and the herbs which are used for the drying of the barley are also cultivated near the distillery. After the distillation in directly fired pot stills, the Single Malt matured in different types of casks: Bourbon, fresh oak, and Madeira casks. Batch 1 2021, limited bottling.
