Wild Whisky Blackforest Peated
Blackforest Peated from the German Wild distillery is made with peated malt. In the production, the custom-made yeast plays an important role in order to obtain particularly fruity aromas. For the Single Malt, the mash is fermented with this yeast and then purified and triple distilled. The Blackforest matured in American white oak casks as well as Bourbon and Cognac casks, in order to emphasise the fruity character, which combines harmoniously with the smokiness.
