The Singleton of Dufftown 17 fully matured in refill Hogsheads made out of American oak to represent the fresh, spring-like character of the Single Malt. The addition of 'The Singelton' to the name is supposed to show the uniqueness of the Dufftown Malt. The Special Releases 2020 of Diageo are under the motto 'Rare by Nature'.
