AnCnoc Peatheart is named after the heart of the Scottish peat moor, which is located in the northern and western Highlands. The moors are defining the landscape and are rich in flora and fauna. The peatheart is between 8 to 10 years old.

This An Cnoc Whisky comes from the Knockdhu distillery. Its maturation in Bourbon casks gives this whisky an extraordinary mildness. An Cnoc is calic and means 'hill'.

Distilled in 1998 and filled in 2012, this An Cnoc offers a whisky matured in american white oak and sherry casks. This bottling is limited to 850 Cases. A combination of honey, lemon and other fruitiness.

The flaughter spate is used to get rid of the top layer of the peat in the heather. This layer is the most efficient layer to produce the smoke.
Nose: At the beginning smoke and ash. Later soft and sweet with creamy notes.
Finish: Mild and smoky
