Just tried this one...really good due to dark colour and porty flavours.Horst loves this one and quite right.Only £45 for a really tasty dram.Dont normally go near GlenM as too peelly wally..but this is a very good one!
I had it two weeks ago in a Glenmorangie tasting and I found it to be the best of the regular Glenmorangies.
Have you tried the other ones?
@bedlamborn Only interested in the Ruban.Lasanta supposed to be quite good.Tried Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 5 last night...very,very good.59.1% too..but very tasty!
Would love to try the Glengoyne cask strength. Haven't seen that one in a pub in Sweden yet.
@bedlamborn I got it through The Whisky Exchange.Trying Highland Park 18 again..did sample this in December but was a little bit disappointed,so giving it another go.Some say its the best dram in world with that "Hallalujah" moment!!
@bedlamborn There are all three Extra Matured Glenmorangies coming up in videos in the next weeks.
@horst_s Quinta Rubin ist ausgezeichnet!!
we seem to be revisiting quite a number of bottles recently?
@hwchoy Is that a criticism?????
@Highlander haha not really, except that I thought there would be references made to the previous reviews. I believe the Lasantha has been reviewed 3 times already, but very usefully the differences in the different releases were discussed.
@Highlander I got this bottle as a birthday present, have to say I quite like it. I'm not a fan of the extra sweet stuff like Nectar D'Or but still have to taste Astar (Horst seems to like it from the video review although he didn't finished the glass which means he didn't love it or becase this is 50+ and still had some to taste didn't want to kill his tastebuds) and Ealanta 1993 as I read they are quite nice.
