@bedlamborn
actually it is always the same hot... just whether raining or f*pouring
@hwchoy
I remember from my trip to Japan that the person from Thailand said they had two seasons. Warm or warm and humid.
@bedlamborn
in Thailand there is a "drier" season which is less humid, but effectively you can say we are humid all the time. its like when we say its the rainy season, we meant it is raining every day, but during "non-rainy" season, it might rain every couple of days
in peninsula Malaysia and Singapore, there are two distinct "drier" period when the monsoon wind changes direction, but everything is relative ;-)
@hwchoy
To hot and humid for me. But then I am a northerner who go swimming when the water temperature is 17C
So when it is very humid do you feel it is harder to drink some whiskies?
@hwchoy
We have a few months in the summer that are very hot and humid. I would have a tough time with a whole year of that, but I guess one gets accustomed to it. I grew up further south in Georgia and enjoyed playing tennis in the brutally hot summers. Now I carefully plan my summer activities to move as quickly as possible between air conditioned spaces.
@pitt_luke
Balvenie 15 years single barrel is the best for that season.
@bedlamborn
either we have a breezy evening or we stay in the aircon room ;-)
hence whisky is always good.
however, I do enjoy a ron Zacapa on the rocks for a change.
yummy... salty leather... and smoke fire
Just had a lovely dram of Flóki Icelandic Young Malt. Reviewed it as follows:
