I just tried both - I started with the MacAllan 12 and thought it was ok - about 7 out of 10 and I honestly thought the Glenmorangie would pip it. Alas it was disappointing - no lasting strength on the pallet ! Pity !
I now give the MacAllan 8 marks in comparison.
Would the 18 Macallan be that much better in my search for the holy grail !?
