Recommended whisky's for beginner

    Hello all,


    I'm quite new in the single malt whisky world therefore I'm searching for some "starters" which can be recommended for a beginner.

    I've already tasted the Glenmorangie 10YO and the Auchentoshan 12YO and I really liked both, especially the Auchentoshan 12YO.

    Auchentoshan  is triple distilled and there is not so much triple distilled whisky made in Scotland, more in Ireland. if you like them smooth like Auchentoshan than maybe Balvenie or Tomatin would be to your taste.

    @geriud Not to forget the older Glenfiddich (15yrs and 18yrs). And there are Dalwhinnie 15yrs and Cragganmore 12yrs waiting.
