@hwchoy The photo rotation was actually correct before I load it to this page. I tried to rorate it before loading, didnt help. I have no idea why haha.
@hwchoy Im very wary of fake. But this one seems legit. The bottle has all the seals.
I once saw a fake hibiki with a real Royal Malaysian Customs Duty Paid sticker :-)
A little bit off topic, but how to identify a fake? It would be an interesting guide, or a tips set.
I believe Horst had done a video on this, or perhaps it was ralfy. but in general you need to look carefully at the seals, and for some brands, they have tell tale materials or imprints to look for. for example Hibiki whiskies uses a special rice paper from Japan as labels and these are not cut but torn so the edges have a tearing effect, and also the stopper has an imprint rather than a graphical label.
there are no fail safe way to know, you just have to be very careful especially for high priced items.
