Anyone have any opinions as to what is better....wonder what Horst thinks. His review of GlenF 21 is in german (my german isnt that good)!!!Think prices are all quite similar... £70 ish!Interesting to hear peoples views!
@Highlander Sorry for answering late. Quite busy these days.
My sequence would be Aberlour 18, GF21 and finally GF18. The overall appearance of the heftily sherried Aberlour is wonderful. I do not like rhum at all. But the note in the GF21 is excellent. The GF18 has less taste to provide. BUT it is still a very good bottle.
when you say GlenF do you mean Glenfarclas or Glenfiddich? seems @horst_s is referring to Glenfiddich?
@hwchoy I think i mean Glenfarclas.I found the 18yr old slightly 'watery'..nice enough but not memorable like 21 & 25.Aberlour 18 is nice and fruity!
yes I figured you meant Glenfarclas, but I believe @horst_s is talking about the Glenfiddich 21 which is rum finished, and Horst does not like rum. I don't think Glenfarclas 21 is rum finished.
@hwchoy It isnt ....I have a bottle...very good indeed.Horst indeed does NOT like rum!
