New single malts from Rest & Be Thankful released

The independent bottler presents peated whiskies from InchDairnie and Bruichladdich this time

The independent bottlings of the Rest & Be Thankful label have been available since 2012. Eamonn Jones and Aidan Smith, who are behind the label with their company Fox Fitzgerald, have been building up their experience in the whisky scene for more than 30 years and have established many valuable relationships.

For example, with the Islay distillery Bruichladdich, where one of the current new bottlings comes from. This single cask bottling is a whisky from the distillery's peated Port Charlotte production.

The other Rest & Be Thankful Whisky comes from the new Lowland distillery InchDairnie, which, like Bruichladdich, has a two-pronged approach to its malt whisky (they also produce rye whisky) and have both unpeated and peated single malt in their portfolio. The latter is marketed under the name Finglassie and is now available as a six year old Rest & Be Thankful.

Both whiskies were bottled uncoloured and un-chillfiltered.
