Glenallachie 10 Years Cask Strength Batch 7 released

The cask strength version of the Speysider presents a balance of dried fruit, spices and dark chocolate

A lot has happened since Glenallachie introduced the distillery’s first core range in July 2018. The former silent player in the background of the whisky scene has become a well-regarded single malt brand. Thanks to Billy Walker's cask management, the hidden treasures of the warehouses not only flow into special single cask bottlings, but also into an absolutely high-quality permanent portfolio.

One of the favourites of many Glenallachie fans is the cask strength 10-year-old single malt. Whisky experts also appreciate the quality of this whisky: At the renowned World Whiskies Awards, Batch 4 of Glenallachie 10 Year Old was named World's Best Single Malt 2021.

Glenallachie 10 YO Cask Strength Batch 7 has just been released and is available at several countries now – as long as the limited supply lasts.

From more than 50,000 casks Billy Walker can choose in the distillery's warehouses zu batch the whiskies. The Glenallachie 10 y.o. Cask Strength Batch 7 was composed of Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso Sherry puncheons, Rioja barriques and a small amount of Virgin Oak casks. It was bottled non chill filtered in natural colour with an alcohol content of 56.8% ABV.
