The Whisky
The Alt Enderle Whiskies are Whiskies that have been produced on pot stills meant for the production of German fruit Schnapps. Although these stills are not optimal for the Whisky production the output is a good Whisky.
The Production
The distillery produces everything from German Schnapps, Liqueur, Gin, Rum and also Single Malt Whisky.
The Pot Stills
The Pot Stills were designed for the German Schnapps production. The influence of a Schnapps stills is a fruity and sweet style.
The Malting
The malting and even the harvesting of the barley is done by the distillery. This ensures the highest standards of quality through the whole process.
The Warehouse
The distillery has its own warehouse for their different kind of spirits. Due to the hotter summer and colder winter the maturation in Germany is said to be a bit faster than in Scotland.
History
The company was founded in 1991 by Joachim Alt and Michael Enderle.
