Comment: I always thought I hated Whiskey. I'm not the biggest fan of the harsh burn that I'd experienced with some whiskey. Singleton (original 12yr) was the first Scotch I enjoyed. There was no harsh burn. By the time I came to my second bottle it was the new design. I feel like the taste and nose is slightly different. The taste is certainly more oily that I recall my first bottle tasting. That said, although it's less complex than other whiskies, I'd still recommend this or Monkey Shoulder for those who aren't sure if they like whiskies.
