Nosing:

Peat obviously, then fresh fruitiness of citrus, apple and lemon. Hint of spiciness too. Also welcome sweet, gentle and crisp honeyed malt as well as vanilla.

Taste:

It has a sweetness of biscuity malt, vanilla and honey. Peppery spice pokes through from oak as well as woody oakiness. There is still a presence of peaty flavor here while citrus fruit reveals at the back end. Even though there is an evidence of grain but the overall taste majority tends towards malt. A few drops of water bring up more citrus and lemony profiles also making sweet malty character to be much more distinguished.

Finish:

The body is soft and just right. Silky smooth with a crisp and clean finish that leaves quite a long trail of oily malty sweetness and a bit of peat smoke and grain.

Comment:
Quality beyond the price tag, it is a really good blend that provides a touch of good single malt and top up with enough peat profile to add some depth to both of the aroma and palate sensation.
