All tasting notes

Vanilla and caramel, a sort of creme brulee nose, brown sugar. There is some glacee cherry fruit in it, but also a touch of acetone if you really dig into it.
Taste:

Sweet and intense arrival. Lots of oak and spiciness going on. Savoury sugar notes like dark treacle or muscovado sugar. Cinnamon and a touch of clove.
Finish:

Medium length at best. A good continuation of the palate. Residual dark caramel flavours. For all the oak influence it isn't as dry as I would expect.
Comment:
This is what I would characterize as a well made middle of the road bourbon. It's very sweet up front with the sugar notes, but the heavy oak influence keeps it under control. The finish isn't super long which I'd count as a weakness. Otherwise however, it's very good stuff, and well priced.
83/100

Taste:

Finish: Medium to long with lingering medicinal tones overtaking the spice.
Comment: Wonderful nose.

Taste: Some red fruit, caramel & maple sweetness, lots of oak, spice & dry bitter woodiness. There is a sour note & a youthful spiritiness that gives it a juicy mouth feel but definitely not balanced. The oak and wood flavors just overpower the mild mannered spirit
Finish: Leaves a lingering of maple syrup, vanilla spice and woody oak spice on the palate. Description is actually better than what it actually is.
Comment: 81/100 - The nose is the best part. The spirit resembles more of a rye character than a wheated bourbon in flavor but again not very balanced. This needs more age to round out the rough edges.
