Mackmyra Scorpions
The limited Scorpions bottling of the Swedish distillery Mackmyra was created in collaboration with the German Hardrock band Scorpions. The group was founded in 1965 in Hannover and reached international fame with over 100 million sold records. The maturation of the Single Malt is in ex-Bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The Mackmyra Scorpions finished in German cherry Wine casks. With that, a fruity, sweet Whisky was created with aromas of cherry and vanilla. The taste can be described with dried fruits, ripe berries and roasted nuts. The Mackmyra Scorpions Edition is not coloured and bottled with 40% alcohol strength.
