Nosing: syrup style, phenol, medical, slightly mentholic, herbal. Reminds me of some herbal cough syrups.
Taste: Herbal, smoky and phenollic, very intense taste of peat, a little bit of bitterness but in syrup kind of style, mouthwash, sweetness is nicely balanced between all of that.
Finish: At first very smoky but it fades quickly and lasting for medium time with all this complex tastes.
Comment: They say You love it or you hate it. I am more into loving it but still it will not be my favourite whisky for it's very special characker not for every ocassion. Anyway, there is nothing more medicinal than Laphroaig, and also there is nothing in general like Laphroaig. Also I do not agree that this is very heavily smoky. It is peaty but still it is not overpowering like in Ardbeg and not as smoky as Lagavulin. Alcoholwise it is very delicate.

Comment: Stinks like a hell and tastes like a heaven ;D. What a wonderful Islay single malt. If you are a fan of a peated whisky, then Laphroaig 10 is mandatory for you to try))

Very leathery on the nose. Like a new, leather sofa. Full of peat and medicinal aromas

It's quite smooth and balanced drum than expected. I heard this drum has a lot of medicinal touch and peaty flavor. But truth is the one has well mixed with peat flavor and citrus, sweetness and orange. Not having strong alcoholic touch. This is one of splendid drum for me up to now.

A perfect idea: give a dram of this one to your friend, who hasn't tried any smokey whisky before. After he tries it, your bar will be untouched and there is a possibility that he will not try any other whisky anymore ;-)
Color (unfortunately colored): bright amber
Nose: smoke, smoke, smoke... your eyes start to tear.
After about 10 minutes the fruity notes appear. Orange, apple, prunes, vanilla, fresh nuts.
Palate: ash on the burned potatoes taken out from the bonfire, beeswax (candle pencils), plastic, butterscotch, salty caramel
Wonderful!
