Nosing: Strong medicinal smoke. Hospital jars. Seaweed. Lockport shoreline. Saltine. Musty.

Taste: Arrival is surprisingly sweet vanilla wafer cookies developing into creamy peppered chowder and smoked jerkey.

Finish: Long. Mouth watering. Charred meat. Salt and pepper.

Comment: A decent whiskey. A little one dimensional on the palate. Gets tiresome after the second dram. Ardbeg 10, Longrow and Lagavulin 16 are better alternatives if you're looking for a more complex and enjoyable peated whiskey.

Aroma: Intense Peat Smoke, Medicinal Notes, Camphor, Alcohol, Barbecue Sauce, Vanilla, and Oak

Taste: Alcohol, Peat Smoke, Bitter Vanilla, and Oak

Finish: Smoky Campfire Nasal Finish, Lingering Vanilla, and Bitter Oak

Comment: Great quality and flavor for the price. If you prefer intense peat smoke, then drink the bottle quickly as the smoke significantly diminishes the longer the bottle is open
