Comment: Powerful rye is spicy and noted on the tongue, no doubt. There is literally no tell of the alcohol scent or taste, probably because the wheat and smoke help cover it. It's not a bad choice, but it's not the best choice for Knob Creek if you're looking for a sipping whisky. At least, that's my opinion. Other single crafted whisky selections could likely be your better suit, however, do not over-glance this if you want to try something new.
