Comment:
I am rating this as a seperate category for blends. This is my favorite blended whisky. Low price as for excelent quality. Intense oakiness and delicate hint of a smoke. Excellent job Johnnie Walker!

Comment: Johnnie Walker 12Y Black Label hints at it's blended components on the nose - peat, fruit, bitterness, oak, all present, but all somewhat dulled so as to fit together. This whisky is not a complicated puzzle, but it is a well-designed assemblage of pieces.
Again, an edgeless experience on the palate. An echo of peat smoke through the finish provides a measure of character beyond the standard oak and mild sweetness one might expect.
Johnnie Walker 12Y Black Label may not be an exciting dram, but it doesn't fall down in any respect, either.

Light, smoky and sweet on nose. Plenty of vanila in the first plan with some fruity nose.
Taste:

Mild, oily and sweet. Gets a bit stronger and oaky at the back of tongue and palate.
Finish:

Rather long finish with strong oaky notes and a bit of dark chocolate.
Comment:
Very sippable blended whisky, with pretty good price in relation to quality. I like to drink it to a good book.
