Picked this bottle up after watching MacReady kill a chess computer with J&B on the rocks. Didn't expect much after I found it on the dustiest bottom shelf in New England.

And yet, color me surprised. This whisky, while not the greatest whisky in the world, is the perfect drinker for cold evenings when the New Hampshire dark starts to press in on the frosted glass.

It gets the job done. Good enough for fending off Antarctic horrors and good enough for me.
