Comment: On the nose, is plentiful fresh unripened fruit - green apple, pear and lemon. A sweet sourness of a good mead is present coupled with warm notes of vanilla, caramel and a hint of malt. On the palate, this whisky is exceptionally smooth and easy to drink. It is rather mild, a great entry dram. Towards the finish one finds some spice, oak and a welcomed nuttiness.
