Comment: This is bourbon cask whisky no doubt. Vanilla everywhere. Sweet and aromatic. Gets a bit of an Alcohol bite if you leave it for too long in the bottle, had that happen to me twice now. Drink within half a year of opening, or don't leave it with more air than whisky in the bottle for too many months.

Nosing: Sweetness and more sweetness. The alcohol is quite cooling to the nose the first sniff. Then the sweetness turns into vanilla.

Taste: Sweetness , with oak in the background. The vanilla is still present.Citrus? Not on my palette. Sorry.

Finish: Long oaky sweet after taste. The vanilla disappears and gives way to a little bitterness from the oak.

Comment:
Super creamy with lots of vanilla, woody notes. Foral, herbal...smells and tastes like a meadow. But also spicy with some alcohol kick. Just a damn good whisky that really hooked me with its overall balance. First sip made me an immediate fan of Glenmorangie. I bought the 4-pak collection and while every one is a winner, the Original is the backbone of the variations.
