Fruity with lots of green apples and pear. Initially upon opening its slightly acidic but after being open a while that dies back and becomes more honeyed. Vanilla oakiness.
Taste:

Sweet arrival, with pear flavours. Well integrated complex oakiness with a hint of sherry. Has a slightly sherberty fizziness on the tongue.
Finish:

Sweet and drying with residual fruitiness and lingering oakiness. A bit of black tea.
Comment:
Spotted this on offer at the local supermarket and thought I'd give it a crack. This whisky changes a LOT if you leave it to sit in the glass (and even after the bottle has been opened a while). Its enjoyable, but it would have been way better bottled at a higher ABV, I think it just lacks a little intensity. Its definitely an easy drinker, very sweet and approachable.
