Nosing: Apfel Birne Gras Karamell
Sweet and fruity. Apples and pears predominantly. A vegetal component a bit like grass, can't quite put my finger on it. Creamy.

Taste: Süße Apfel Birne Malz
Very sweet arrival, almost sickly. Fruity throughout, develops into a malty cereal flavour.

Finish: Früchte
Medium length. Mixed fruitiness.

Comment:
Grabbed a bottle of this when it was on offer at the local supermarket. The nose is just fine, but the rest of it shows that its a bit young, even by NAS whiskey standards. It is far too sweet on the palate for my tastes, and while this might make it relatively easy to drink it isn't terribly interesting. The finish is ok, but I wouldn't go much further than that. It is however a value proposition, I'm pretty sure it was around £25 when I got it, so to be honest I can't be that upset. Wouldn't pay the full retail for it though. I'm generally a fan of Glenlivet, even some of their non age statement releases, this one's worth a miss though.
