Nosing: Very rich, complex - younger and older combinations of malts. Sherry christmas cake dominant despite only 2 sherry cask finished malts (along with 17 bourbon and 1 rum) going into the blend.
Taste: Complex - christmas cake, raisins, definitely taste the sherry finish, dark fruits, cinnamon
Finish: Apples, rich dark chocolate.

This is a must buy at the price currently on sale for. Some say it's a cheaper version of king Alexander III - I kind of see this viewpoint. A few other reviews have commented that there is a soapy taste - not to me there isn't. I've bought an additional 6 bottles - and I think I may buy more!
