All tasting notes

Complex, and aromatic. An unusual Caipirinha note before water. Creamy/buttery with oloroso sherry. Cherry throat lozenges, walnuts. Water brings out the nuts and rounds off the medicinal part of the cherry.
Taste:

Savoury sherry arrival, sour/bitter orange peel, maltiness and ground sweet spices. Water brings out the cherry throat sweets again as well as a bit of black tea.
Finish:

Medium length sherry oak and general nuttiness.
Comment:
This is one super complex malt, I've had it before but didn't appreciate it nearly as much as I do now. Water affects it a lot, but it can take a fair drop and its worth experimenting. That weird Caipirinha/cachaca thing on the nose was unexpected and very unique. The palate as well has excellent complexity. The finish is fitting and solid, if unspectacular. Overall, absolutely loving it.
Taste: Smooth and saturating woodiness with lingering cloves and chocolate/pear notes.
Finish: Long with mild spice and soft fruits paired with sweetness (like burnt caramel)
Comment: Quite enjoyable! As soon as this bottle is done, I'm restocking.

Comment: If comparing to another famous sherry one which is Aberlour 12 double cask, this is very similar, but still more prominent. There is also more spiciness and a longer finish. I am not into this profile of whisky, but anyway it is ok.For sure better than Aberlour.
