Glen Grant 12 Years new Design
The Glen Grant distillery has long stood for first-class malts with a fair price/performance ratio. After the 16-year-old is no longer available, a 12-year-old bottling has now been released.

Finish:

Comment: A nicely rounded dram for an aperitif or dessert companion. Apple-y sweet & baking spices and a malty caramel layer. Medium length finish with an oaky and subtle honey note. A modest step up in %abv to sustain those flavours is appreciated. Same price as Glenlivet 12 but I much prefer The Glen Grant!
