All tasting notes

Powerfully aromatic. Orange peel, with herbal notes.Particularly Rosemary. Background sherry, mixed spices.
Taste:

Sweet arrival, creamy with vanilla, again orange notes, intense spice and pepper comes through over time.
Finish:

Medium to long, lots of oak showing through, residual spice and pepper
Comment:
This is a very intensely flavoured malt. The nose is pungent and on the palate it is super punchy. It's actually quite well judged though at the higher ABV, In my opinion I wouldn't be adding a lot of water to it, though it does mellow out with just a little. I'm not sure if it's my favourite style of whisky, it reminds me a lot of good quality bourbon. That being said, the quality is good and the price is very reasonable.
