Taste:

Finish: Moderate
Comment: Elegant and peaty. Somewhere between a Bruichladdich and an Ardbeg. Wow! A rather unique dram reminiscent of glazed meat roasted over coals on a spit. There is a mapled bacon note found throughout as well as the welcomed tone of salty sea air. Nuts, chocolate, oak, spices, port and sweetness make for an outstanding journey over the palate. The finish is of strong peat, a little tobacco and a dryness that leaves the mouth salivating for more. A great independent bottling.
