Edradour - 2003 Decanter Bourbon 3rd Release
A nice Edradour. Even though it was bottled in cask strength the sharp tones don't dominate the whisky. It is a mixture of vanilla and the intense Edradour character.

Sweet and sour fruit mixture of figs, raisins, lemon and honey. Supplemented subsequently by Bratapfelduft and a trace cinnamon. At the end a touch of vanilla and caramelized brown sugar
Taste:
Freshly baked fruit cake, malt and a little fresh wood. Dextrose from time to time by flashes
Finish:
Mittellang, angenehm süß, aber auch adstringierend vom Traubenzucker
