Comment: The Dalmore 2013 Distillery Exclusive Edition, 52% abv. Distilled in 1995, bottled 18 years later in 2013, 1 of only 600 bottles produced! Nose - complex, Honey, nuts - almond, hazel, brazil - vanilla, stewed fruits, then followed with dark chocolate and antique leather.... Palate - honey and treacle, fruit cake, cherries and dark ground coffee and dark chocolate..... Finish - warm, long lasting, caramel, a hint of liquorice, a touch of ginger and dark orange marmalade.... 95/100 complex, sublime and worthy of the pricetag.... a special dram indeed!
