Sweet and approachable. Dried apricot and candied ginger. Cinnamon spiciness. Very fruitcakey.
Taste:

Sweet arrival, fruity with sweet spices and sweet wood notes. Transitions to slightly tart, but not bitter towards the tail end.
Finish:

Long and sweet, sweet spices, transitions to walnut.
Comment:
I got a sampler of this on a whim, and its something I might come back to in a full bottle to spend more time on. The whole experience is quite sweet, so if that isn't your thing then this isn't for you. There's enough spiciness to balance things out though, and the transitions are very nicely defined and interesting. The palate really changes as you hold it in your mouth and becomes almost sour. Some people have said they find smoke in this release, but there wasn't a hint of it in what I tasted. Very enjoyable.
