Currach is the triple distilled Irish Single Malt, which after maturation in Bourbon casks got a special finish: The Malt was filled into fresh oak casks, which were toasted with Atlantic Wakame Seaweed. Wakame is a special seaweed that grows on the Irish Atlantic coast in the winter months. It is commonly used for its sweet-salty taste in Asian cuisine. The uncommon toasting process of the casks is giving the Whiskey a unique aroma. The Single Malt is named after a venerable ship in which monks discovered unknown lands.
