Bruichladdich Scottish Barley

One of the most famous bottlings from the Bruichladdich distillery returns in a new guise. Due to the lack of chill-filtration, the smallest suspended particles remain in the Malt, which are carriers of special flavour components. The Whisky was produced with 100% Scottish barley.

Comment: This is my second whisky from Bruichladdich after trying Octomore 7.1. Very complex and amazing whisky. One of my top favourites among Islay single malts. McEwan says that this is an unpeated whisky, but personally I was picking light traces of smoke on the nose and palate, while tasting it.

If you cann't afford yourself any of the Octomores, then go for this Classic Laddie. Bruichladdich whiskies are worth trying. I highly recommend Classic Laddie to all whisky connoisseurs))
