Benriach 25 Years
The 25 year old Benriach was matured in three different casks. Oloroso sherry casks, Ex-Bourbon barrels and traditional oak casks.
This gives the whisky a very complex taste and adds more intense aromas to the flowery and light distillery character.
Nose: Flowers and vanilla combined with pepper.
Taste: Some fruitiness from the sherry and Almonds with a more spicy note on top.
Finish: Long and full.
