Honey, Vanilla, a little fresh fruit, but where's the sherry...?
Taste:
sweet, then very quick but intense citrus (almost sour, but pleasant), concluding with oak spice
Finish:
medium/long, satisfying with a hint of bitterness
Comment:
maybe I've had too much Aberlour, but I didn't notice as much sherry as I would have expected. Maybe it got lost in the first-fill bourbon casks...? Very good dram and an example of Balvenie nonetheless!
