All tasting notes

Nosing: slight alcohol, vanilla, citrus, heather, fresh, clean & new. This smells like a new car, fresh, invigorating and full of energy. No old fruits, peat funk, etc. Almost like a pleasantly fragrant cleaning solution, without the chemically attributes.
Taste: Spicy peppers, oak, ginger, vanilla, fruits, lime, lemon, grapefruit, very zesty, but still sweet. This is a very refreshing dram, oaky, but not to the extreme, all of the flavors are muted and blend together well.
Finish: Medium finish, fruits and sweetness dominate as the spice fades. Very full for such a light whisky, almost as many tastes as a sherry bomb, but from a much lighter bodies dram.
Comment: I don't remember where I got these bottles, but I am glad I bought two..... I am down to my last few drams, and these bottles have been wonderful. Not super complex, rare or special, these single barrel bottles have been fantastic and one of the freshest young whiskies I have had the pleasure of consuming. A wonderful Balvenie, and one I will keep my eyes open for.
