Nosing: Karamell Orange Kräuter
Rich fudge / dark brown sugar, orange peel, buttery. Intense nose even when diluted. There's a slight underlying herbal component I can't put a name to.

Taste: Rosine Zitronenschale Getrocknete Früchte Nüsse
Sweet, intense arrival. Lots of sherry going on. Raisin and citrus peel. Very dark fruitcake character. Nuttiness. Buttery mouth feel.

Finish: Kräuter Sherry Nüsse
Long and drying over the duration. Herbal, and nutty. Residual sherry notes.

Comment:
I've been very impressed with the releases I've bought bottled by Eadie so far, and this is no different. If you can find it, snag one of these fast as it was an absolute steal. It doesn't have the raw nature you sometimes encounter with young cask strength whisky. The whole thing feels very nicely integrated with no rough edges. The herbal components are a nice feature, not something I come across much in sherry cask whisky. Definitely worth grabbing while it is about.
